1. About this website

 

The Gordon L. Diewert Foundation (the “Foundation”) operates this website to provide information about its charitable activities and to facilitate donations, partnership inquiries, and communication with the Foundation.
The Foundation partners with Cocendo, an independent organization that provides the technology platform enabling everyday purchases and gift card revenue to be converted into grocery support for eligible students.

 

2. Acceptance of these Terms

 

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in Canada and, where relevant, your place of residence.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use this website.

 

3. Charitable status and relationship with Cocendo

 

The Foundation is a registered Canadian charity (BN: 88446 1328 RR0001) responsible for receiving and administering charitable donations in support of its mission to reduce student food insecurity.
Cocendo provides the technology‑enabled program that issues private, trackable digital grocery support to students. All Cocendo program net gift card revenue designated for food access is directed to charitable purposes held by the Foundation or other qualified donees, as applicable.

 

4. Donations and use of funds

 

Unless otherwise stated, 90% of receipted donations are directed to student grocery support, and up to 10% may be used for essential charitable operations such as administration, governance, and program oversight.
All charitable assets received by the Foundation are held and used exclusively for charitable purposes in accordance with Canadian law and the Foundation’s charitable objects.
